Pine Hill Festival
Each spring, Wiggins comes alive as thousands of visitors and locals gather for the beloved Pine Hill Festival, happening Friday, April 24 and Saturday, April 25. One of the oldest and most celebrated festivals in South Mississippi, Pine Hill is the largest annual event in Stone County—bringing together music, art, food and community in a way that feels both timeless and fresh.
Rooted in Wiggins’ history, the festival traces its beginnings to the Pine Hill area, which became the city’s commercial center after a major fire reshaped downtown in 1910. What began as Pine Hill Day in 1981 has grown into a signature two-day celebration that honors the county’s heritage while welcoming new generations of visitors.
At its core, the Pine Hill Festival is a showcase of South Mississippi’s creative spirit. More than 100 artists and craftspeople fill the event with booths featuring fine art, handmade goods and one-of-a-kind finds—making it the perfect place to browse, shop and connect with local talent.
Food lovers will also find plenty to enjoy, with a wide variety of vendors serving up everything from Southern favorites to unique festival treats—something for every appetite.
